"It is love that asks, that seeks, that knocks,
that finds, and that is faithful to what it finds."
-Augustine of Hippo
We live in a world full of inspiring music, mystical scenery, delicious food, and beautiful people. All of these fortunate things can influence us for the better meaning all of these things, if not taken for granted, can put a smile on our face and bring positivity into your lives. Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world. Where there is peace there is war... Where there is happiness there is sadness... And where there are faithful people there are regretably enough unfaithful people. As much as we are influenced to smile and laugh by beautiful things that bring us joy; there are bad influences and temptations that can confuse your mind just as easily. (Beware of such temptations... The only thing you will find is pain and regret.)

Blog inspired by TRUE LOVE |
Hi sis! I enjoy reading your blogs. Its like we are having one of our deep conversations on such topics. I too agree that trust is the number one factor in a relationship. Love has many definitions surrounding it. Trust tests true love. Once lost it is hard to regain or find but, once it is found again its up to ” love” to determine our relationship outcome. Miss your face! Love you!
ReplyDeleteas a hopeless romantic i loved everything about this post. i think the reason i loved growing up on disney movies was because i believe in the concept that love is an adventure! finding it, beating the odds to keep it, and choosing to live it happily ever after are indescribable experiences. and being loved by someone who trusts me completely, without reservations, is a gift. thanks!
ReplyDeleteFew thoughts come to me right away from this...first, YES love is a not only something that should be honored, cherished and nurtured daily, but it’s also a blessing that some do not fully honor. Yes the temptations of life, and the evil ones work play a role in the day to day, but to me, I’ve always said this…”Temptation is nothing more than an opportunity to do the right thing”. Simply put yes, but as a man of faith and a secure foundation of love & commitment in my marriage, I can’t help but love my wife more and more each day. I was blessed with her in my life, and I intend to show her my growing love everyday as a thank you to her heart and to the Lord for this gift.
ReplyDeleteThe quote was nice and yes even back in 1895 it made perfect sense. It’s sad of course that many people are separating and divorcing. It truly is. In my line of work (Music) I have encountered such women but kept my faith in who I am. I never went down that path with any of them. Bottom line for me is that I put all my trust and faith in the Lord to continue to guide me on my journey of love in my marriage. LIFE is after all love. Im thankful for a new day everytime I wake up. A new day to love and show love as an inspiration to others. Sure there may be darkness from one corner to the next, but my faith will always be the shining light of hope and love in my world. As far as the others that make other choices…I can only pray for them. Great topic, I am glad to have seen it and commented. All the best and love to you & my man Deuce!
